Clover Mama Afrika’s income-generating sewing project - Denim Drive - has again received a tremendous boost with the receipt of 1870 metres of denim fabric donated by Levi Strauss. This is in addition to a substantial donation of denim fabric from the same company a year ago. With the festive season just around the corner, this timeous donation will contribute to the Mamas’ capacity to support their communities and contribute towards sustainability with their respective self-help projects. Members are encouraged to consider choosing items from the Clover Mama Afrika catalogue for their festive season and year-end corporate purchases. These unique, “one-of-a-kind” items range from “Xmas Décor to one of a kind denim bags, crochet items, beadwork and jewellery”, made with “love and pride” by the Clover Mamas.
