Member companies and interested parties in the Western Cape are invited to attend and participate in the Responsible Packaging Management Association of Southern Africa’s (RPMASA) workshop – Partnership for Sustainable Business - scheduled for Cape Town on 15 October 2009.

It will provide attendees with an opportunity to meet and question the Regulators on aspects of the new legislation pertaining to the responsible packaging and transport of potentially hazardous substances.

In addition, the 2009 Training for Chemical Awareness and Practical Response Programme has been scheduled for Cape Town on 14 October.  The knowledge and information contained in this programme is considered highly relevant for the training of industry personnel who are involved in risk management, operations logistics and supply chain, transport, warehousing and storage of chemical substances, as well as for regulators in areas such as Transport, Disaster Management and Emergency Response, Health, Water and Environment.
