#WEBUYLOCAL FESTIVE SEASON COMPETITION

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  1. This competition is open to South African citizens aged 18 years or over.
  2. This competition is not open to any director, employee, agency, prize sponsor or contractor of Proudly South African or their agencies and members of their immediate family; or any person directly or indirectly involved in the organisation or running of the competition, or their immediate family members.
  3. By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
  4. Competition entries must be submitted via entrants’ Twitter, Facebook, and/or Instagram pages
  5. 5) The closing date and time for entries will be Wednesday 20 December at 10h00. Entries posted thereafter will not be permitted or considered.
  6. Proudly South African does not accept responsibility for entries not received for whatever reason.
  7. The rules of the competition are as follows:
      Entrants are to post onto any of the social media platforms mentioned in point 4 above, a post which includes:
    • the hashtag #LocalisLekker or #WeBuyLocal and tags Proudly South African’s account on that particular social media platform
    • either a unique video of up to 30 seconds long, or an image/picture that
      • heroes a Proudly South African product or service which they have purchased or used
      • mentions the following:
        • why they like using the product or service
        • why they believe it is important to buy and/or support South African goods and services.
  8. Proudly South African and any prize sponsors reserve the right to cancel the competition at any time, if deemed necessary in their opinion, and if circumstances arise outside of their control and shall not be liable in anyway whatsoever to entrants in such event for any cause or action whatsoever.
  9. The prize is as follows:
    A R5000 cash prize
  10. Prizes are not transferable and are not negotiable.
  11. Proudly South African reserves the right to alter rules or prizes at their own discretion. Such altered rules and prizes shall become effective immediately after being altered or on such date as may be determined by Proudly South African. No entrant shall have any recourse against Proudly South African as a result of the alterations of the rules or prizes.
  12. Winners will be chosen as follows:
    One winner will be chosen from each of the social media platforms mentioned in point 4 above. The judges will choose the winners at their discretion based on all or a combination of the rules mentioned in point 7 above and/or the engagement derived from the entrants’ post/s.
  13. The winner/s give consent to have their photograph, full name, and province published/broadcast publicly on any media platform/s identified by Proudly South African at its discretion.
  14. The judges' decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  15. Winners use and accept prizes at their own risk. Proudly South African and the prize sponsors (and/or their respective agencies) cannot be held responsible for any accident, injury, or loss of property experienced as a result of winning, accepting and/or utilizing prizes won.
  16. Any violation or attempt to violate any of the above rules will result in the immediate disqualification of the transgressor.
