PROUDLY SOUTH AFRICAN INTERNATIONAL CHOCOLATE DAY COMPETITION.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
This competition is open to South African citizens aged 12 years or over.
This competition is not open to any director, employee, agency, prize sponsor or contractor of Proudly South African or their agencies and members of their immediate family; or any person directly or indirectly involved in the organisation or running of the competition, or their immediate family members, including of The Chocolatiers, Darling Sweet, Forest Fairies Sweets and Nestle SA.
By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
Competition entries must be submitted through our Proudly South African website.
The start and finishing dates for entries will be from as when we go live on Monday 28 June, 2021 to Thursday 11 July at 00h00. Entries posted thereafter will not be permitted or considered.
Proudly South African does not accept responsibility for entries not received for whatever reason.
HOW TO ENTER
The rules of the competition are as follows:
7.1 Entrants must create a dish using one of the chocolate based recipes on Proudly SA’s social media pages, and submit two pictures via the Proudly South African website. Entrants should make the dish look as attractive as possible. Entrants can submit more than one entry via the Proudly South African webiste.
7.2 Proudly SA and the company whose recipe you have made may be tagged and posted on the Proudly SA social media platforms.
Proudly South African and any prize sponsors reserve the right to cancel the competition at any time, if deemed necessary in their opinion, and if circumstances arise outside of their control and shall not be liable in anyway whatsoever to entrants in such event for any cause or action whatsoever.
The prize is as follows: A hamper of chocolate goodies plus a Mara cell phone.
Winners may be required to submit photographs of themselves and they consent that such photographs can and may be shared across traditional and digital media platforms as seen fit by Proudly South African or its representatives.
By accepting their prize/s, the winner/s give consent to have their photograph, full name, and province published/broadcast publicly on any media platform/s identified by Proudly South African at its discretion.
Prizes are not transferable and are not negotiable.
Proudly South African reserves the right to alter rules or prizes at their own discretion. Such altered rules and prizes shall become effective immediately after being altered or on such date as may be determined by Proudly South African. No entrant shall have any recourse against Proudly South African as a result of the alterations of the rules or prizes.
Winners will be chosen as follows and announced on Tuesday 13 July 2021
Winners will be chosen by a judge/panel of judges identified by Proudly South African. The most attractive dish and most well presented in the photograph/social media post will be deemed the winning entry.
The judges' decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
Winners use and accept prizes at their own risk. Proudly South African and the prize sponsors (and/or their respective agencies) cannot be held responsible for any accident, injury, or loss of property experienced as a result of winning, accepting and/or utilizing prizes won.
Any violation or attempt to violate any of the above rules will result in the immediate disqualification of the transgressor.
